Torbjørn Daleng is an accomplished organizer and composer for choir. He makes amazingly beautiful arrangements for all levels of choirs.
The arrangements are well adapted to the choirs. Good sounds and fine melodylines for all the voices. However the arrangements are developing for the choir to sing because they are much closer to the sounds than many other choir material that exists.
The arrangements sound good and are not complicated to sing, - and there are various difficulty levels to choose from .
Torbjørn Daleng write exciting, and through the vocalgroup VOX I know the diversity of his music. I strongly recommend the music from Torbjørn Daleng.

It is with great pleasure that I wish to express my entusiasm for the music Torbjørn Daleng has made available to choirs
I`m a conducter too a large chamber choir with about 60 members,- who the last 24 years, have filled the church with about 1000 listeners at their Cristmas conserts.
Two of our talented composers and organizers have over the years delivered beautiful and exciting music for use at these concerts. One is the Swedish choral-legend Leif Strand, and the other is Torbjørn Daleng.
Torbjørn`s look for exiting harmonies and good melodies in the different voices makes both the choir singers and the audience enjoy the music. Even well-known and well-used traditional Christmass songs become "like new" in Torbjørn`s arrangements
Bergen Nord Kammerkor and me as a conducter really appreciate having acces to Torbjørn`s many good arrangements and compositions.

Torbjørn Daleng has for a number of years been prominent in Bergen cultural life. In various choirs and instrumental contexts he has been a significant driver. As an composer and arranger he has an extensive production behind him. In many ways one can say that he is ahead of his time.
He gives his ideas a logical design. Long experience has led to indepth knowledge of the media he uses. His imitation technique, rhythmic and harmonic twists are of a striking effect. Complex sounds are logically produced which reveals great pedagogical insight.
His style is personally, consistent and systematic. It has been, and will in the future be, a valuable source of joy and inspiration for those who want to work seriously and thoroughly with what he has on his heart.
